Anna Paquin, a Canadian-New Zealander actress. Paquin was born in Winnipeg, raised in Wellington and first made her acting debut in the role of Flora McGrath when she played the character as Flora in The Piano. It was her first role at the age of nine years old and did not have any acting experience. In her teens, she moved into the United States. Paquin played the lead role in the film Fly Away Home in 1996 and also had a small part as Jane Eyre when she was just a young child.
