Brooke Christa Shields, born May 31, 1965 is an American actress. When she was 12, she began her career as a model for children. She received critical acclaim for her performance in the film of Louis Malle's Pretty Baby (1978). Shields started acting again in the late 1990s, and appeared in minor parts in films. Brooke Christa Shields was a Manhattan, New York, born on May 31st in 1965. She is the daughter of Teri Shields, who was a actress and model, and Frank Shields, a businessman (1941-2003).
